Terms of Service
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions, and procedures between Dalemi (the "Company") and users in connection with the use of the Dalemi service (the "Service").
Article 2. Definitions
The following terms are defined as follows: • "Service" means the web service provided by Dalemi that visualizes Notion pages as mindmaps. • "User" means any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. • "Member" means a person who has provided personal information to the Company and completed registration, and may use the Service on an ongoing basis. • "Paid Service" means services such as the Pro plan and Max plan that require payment of fees set by the Company. • "Notion Integration" means the feature by which a user connects their Notion account to the Dalemi service to import Notion page data. • "Mindmap" means a hierarchical diagram that visually represents the structure and content of a Notion page.
Article 3. Posting and Amendment of Terms
① The Company shall post the contents of these Terms on the initial screen or linked screen of the Service. ② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws. ③ When amending the Terms, the Company shall specify the effective date and reasons and give notice at least 7 days prior to the effective date. ④ Continued use of the Service after the effective date of amended Terms shall be deemed consent to the amended Terms.
Article 4. Formation of Service Agreement
① The service agreement is formed when an applicant agrees to the Terms and applies for membership, and the Company accepts the application. ② The Company may refuse or terminate the agreement in the following cases: • False information was provided or another person's information was used • A child under 14 applied without the consent of a legal guardian • The applicant was previously restricted for violating these Terms • Other requirements set by the Company are not met
Article 5. Service Plans and Features
The Company provides the Service under the following plans. Prices are subject to change per service policy. • Free: 50 nodes, 3 page levels, tree layout, PNG export (watermark) • Pro: Unlimited nodes, 4 layouts, PNG & PDF export, slides, AI 20/day • Max: All Pro features + SVG export, slides with annotation, unlimited AI, read-only link sharing ※ Detailed features for each plan are available on the in-app plan page.
Article 6. Service Changes and Interruptions
① The Company may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. ② The Service is provided 24/7 in principle, but may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, repairs, or failures. ③ The Company will give prior notice of service interruptions. In unavoidable circumstances (force majeure, emergency failures, etc.), notice may be given after the fact.
Article 7. Payment for Paid Services
① Users wishing to use paid services must pay the fee by the method designated by the Company. ② Paid service fees are billed monthly and automatically renewed one month after the billing date. ③ For the Max plan, fees are charged per team member and will change from the next billing cycle when members are added or removed. ④ Fees and payment methods can be checked and changed on the settings page within the Service.
Article 8. Plan Changes and Refund Policy
① Plan upgrades take effect immediately, and a pro-rated charge for the remaining period may be billed immediately. ② Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refund is provided for the remaining subscription period. ③ Refund policy: • Within 7 days of payment, unused: Full refund • Within 7 days of payment, paid features used at least once: Refund may be restricted • More than 7 days after payment: Generally non-refundable (pro-rated refund if due to Company fault; full refund for duplicate charges) Refund requests may be submitted via email (help@dalemi.io).
Article 9. Subscription Cancellation
① Users may cancel their subscription at any time via the "Change Plan" menu within the Service. ② After cancellation, paid services remain available until the end of the current billing cycle, after which the account automatically reverts to the Free plan. ③ Upon switching to the Free plan, access to paid features is restricted, but existing data is retained.
Article 10. Notion Integration and Data Processing
① Users must authorize the connection of their Notion account to use the Service. ② The Company accesses Notion data only within the scope authorized by the user and adheres to the following: • The user's Notion data is used solely for the purpose of generating mindmaps. • The user's Notion content will not be sold or shared with third parties without authorization. • When the user disconnects the integration, the relevant access permissions are immediately revoked. ③ Dalemi uses Notion's official API and complies with Notion's terms of service and policies. ④ The Company is not liable for service restrictions resulting from Notion service failures or policy changes.
Article 11. User Obligations
Users must not engage in the following conduct: ① Impersonating or unauthorized use of another person's Notion account or personal information ② Infringing the copyrights or intellectual property rights of others through the Service ③ Disrupting the normal operation of the Service (hacking, crawling, excessive API calls, etc.) ④ Reselling the Service for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Company ⑤ Violating laws or public morals ⑥ Any other conduct in violation of these Terms or applicable laws
Article 12. Company Obligations
① The Company shall not engage in conduct prohibited by applicable laws or these Terms, and shall endeavor to provide a continuous and stable service. ② The Company shall establish and operate security systems to safely manage users' personal information and Notion data. ③ The Company shall handle complaints and opinions from users that are deemed legitimate and inform users of the outcome.
Article 13. Disclaimer
The Company shall not be liable in the following cases: ① Service failures due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or interruptions by telecommunications providers ② Service disruptions attributable to the user ③ Service restrictions due to policy changes, failures, or API changes by Notion ④ Damages arising from use of the Free service (excluding cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company) ⑤ Matters relating to the reliability or accuracy of information, data, or facts posted by users within the Service
Article 14. Intellectual Property
① Intellectual property rights in content created by Dalemi within the Service (UI, design, logo, software, etc.) belong to the Company. ② Rights in the original data (Notion content) of mindmaps created by users through the Service belong to the user and the original copyright holder of the content. ③ Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit information obtained through the Service without prior consent from the Company.
Article 15. Termination of Service Agreement
① Users may request termination of the service agreement (account deletion) at any time through the settings menu or customer support. ② Upon account deletion, personal information is handled in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy. ③ The Company may terminate the agreement or restrict service use in the following cases: • Violation of these Terms • Defamation of others or disruption of service operations • Conduct in violation of applicable laws
Article 16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
① Disputes between the Company and users shall be resolved through mutual consultation in principle. ② If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may apply for mediation to the Content Dispute Mediation Committee or a relevant authority. ③ If litigation is filed, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction. ④ These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
